Scheduled Programming
In addition to free admission for the day, we are proud to welcome the art non-profit Visionaries + Voices for an artist workshop and the Children's Law Center for a film screening and discussion. The League of Ohio Women Voters will also be on-site for voter registration.
This interactive program highlights the power of creativity as a tool for learning and community connection. V + V teaching artists will demonstrate a hands-on visual art lesson while inviting participants to explore their own creativity.
Community members of all ages are welcome to observe, learn and make in this space for shared expression. No prior art experience is necessary.
We Grew Up: Kids in Adult Prisons centers the voices of those who lived that reality, giving them space to share—in their own words—what it meant to enter the adult system as children, grow up behind bars and carry those experiences forward.
The Children’s Law Center invites the Greater Cincinnati community members to a special opportunity to experience the documentary’s first Cincinnati community screening and join a deeper conversation about young people, justice and the systems that shape their lives.
