Spoken Word Performances by KennyFresh
12:00pm & 3:30pm | Harriet Tubman Theater
KennyFresh is no stranger to the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. In 2014, he brought his spoken word poetry to the Center as part of his “The Invisible Tour” and the Center’s Juneteenth celebration. Eight years later, KennyFresh is elated to return with more of his signature poetry that elicits engagement from the audience. Kenny’s work seeks to impact, encourage and to leave the listener feeling better than when they came in. Performing some poems from his debut chapbook “Equilibrium” and other assorted poems that speak to mental health awareness, affirmations, fatherhood and belonging, his work is sure to refresh your point of view.
