Join Rhinegeist Brewery on Saturday, February 17 from noon to 6 p.m. for a celebration of Black creativity and impact within our community. Rhinegeist is releasing Ginger Mack, a tropical bear with ginger, named after Theodore Mack, Sr., owner/operator of one of America's first Black-owned breweries, Peoples Brewing Co. $1 per pint of Ginger Mack sold will go to support the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center.
The event will also feature music by DJ Queen Celine, live painting with Freedom Center featured artist Michael Thompson, popups by a variety of Black-owned food and product vendors and more.
