Join Ms. Karen V. Hill, president & CEO of The Harriet Tubman Home in Auburn, NY, for a meet and greet following her program Harriet Tubman: A Legacy of Hope. The meet and greet is hosted by the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center Ambassadors. Light bites will be provided.

You can also take this opportunity to view a new statue installation celebrating the legacy of Harriet Tubman titled The Beacon of Hope, on display outside the Freedom Center.

This meet and greet is hosted in celebration of the U.S. Mint’s 2024 release of the Harriet Tubman Commemorative Coin, which are available for purchase in three denominations from the U.S. Mint and in the Freedom Store at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. Surcharges from the sale of each coin will be equally split between the Freedom Center and The Harriet Tubman Home, supporting the mission of the organizations as they continue Tubman’s legacy.
