Interactive Chalk Art Activity

10:00am - 4:00pm | Front plaza

Stop by and make your mark on this community driven artwork with artist Brent Billingsley. The ‘One Piece at a Time’ Chalk Activation will take place outdoors on the front plaza (weather permitting).

Marking Time Gallery Interpretation

10:00am - 5:00pm | Skirball Gallery

Experience the powerful exhibition Marking Time: Art in the Age of Mass Incarceration and engage with a member of the Marking Time exhibit team.

Story Time Dramatic Reading

Bring history to life with a family friendly dramatic reading of Juneteenth Jamboree by Carole Boston Weatherford.

Gallery Talk: I’m Listening...

Hear local artist and Truth and Reconciliation Artist Grantee 2022, Brent Billingsley speak about I’m Listening..., an art community engagement project created in collaboration with officers of the Cincinnati Police Department (CPD).  This magnificent work makes it's debut at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center this week.
