Can the Freedom Center collaborate on a project with us?
We will collaborate with other organizations on programming, exhibits and more, based on mission alignment and at the discretion of the Freedom Center. Complete the initial interest form to start the conversation.
Would the Freedom Center host my exhibition?
Do you have a temporary exhibition in mind that you'd like to see displayed at the the Freedom Center? Help us determine if this exhibition would be a good fit for our institution by filling out the proposal form.
Can the Freedom Center donate tickets for my charitable event?
As a non-profit, the Freedom Center understands the importance of community groups and organizations and the need to fundraise. You may request ticket donations through our donation requests form. While we cannot accommodate every request, we do carefully consider each one and try to respond in a timely manner.

Donating to the freedom center makes it possible for us to continue to provide the programming, exhibits, speaking engagements and resources for continued culture learning. You can donate online or via check.
How do I donate object(s) to the museum's collection? Can you authenticate or appraise?
There are many considerations the curatorial team must consider for donated objects. View our donations page and complete the form if you have an object or artifact that you'd like to donate for consideration.

How do I volunteer at the Freedom Center?
Volunteers are integral to our museum's success. Volunteers help us welcome visitors, guide conversations within our exhibitions, staff the FamilySearch Center and so much more. Opportunities and training can be tailored to a variety interests and schedules.
How do I work at the Freedom Center?

Can you assist me with my specific genealogy or Underground Railroad research question?
National Underground Railroad Freedom Center staff are not available to assist with individual research requests. However, our FamilySearch volunteers are happy to assist you with general genealogy research and teach you how to continue researching your family history on your own.
