Perspectives on The Underground Railroad in Ohio: John Booth and Kathy Schulz

The Underground Railroad in Ohio opens with the story of Addison White, a freedom seeker who continued to fight for justice long after his escape from enslavement in Kentucky. Author Kathy Schulz and Addison White’s great-great-grandson, poet and musician John Booth, will discuss how they wove together archival research and oral history to tell White’s story. Short readings, performance and a book signing will follow the conversation.
