What is the cost of Freedom? The many episodes of military engagement involving US troops over the past half century has led to a legion of veterans re-entering society with a variety of issues to overcome including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. During the fall of 2013, students from the School of Creative and Performing Arts produced a photography and writing project in collaboration with veterans struggling with PTSD who currently living at Joseph House, a Cincinnati agency that provides services for dependent veterans. The combined group produced graphic novels which illustrate poignant stories of recovery with images shot in the historic area of Over-the-Rhine surrounding Joseph House.
