Enjoy an exceptional evening of ‘race movie’ history with a screening of “MIDNIGHT RAMBLE: Oscar Micheaux and the Story of Race Movies.” This award winning PBS documentary, 10 years in the making, tells the story of ‘race movies,’ films made primarily by, for and about the Black Community from 1910-1950. Discussion and Q&A immediately follows with the film’s Producer and Executive Director of BLACK FOLKS MAKE MOVIES, Pamela A. Thomas. Additional recollections by Cincinnati’s own, Wm. Mallory, Sr.

Free to the public.
