UBS Freedom Scholars

The UBS Freedom Scholars is a community-based partnership between the Freedom Center and UBS Financial Services. Together, we provide programmatic experiences designed to enhance pathways for increasing youth leadership and economic empowerment. UBS employees have a unique role in this program; working directly with UBS scholars as professional mentors, personal coaches, and models of success.

100 high school students participate in UBS Freedom Scholars Programming each year. Three themes frame program modules:

• Financial Literacy with an savings/matching incentive
• Leadership Development related through the lessons of the Underground Railroad
• Mentoring
