Social issues such as the use of the racial slurs and violence in schools have become part of our daily conversation. Our youth are being confronted with terms that adults are still challenged to defend. Each word carries more than their singular meaning; their usage spell out a society that refuse to embrace diversity and inclusivity; they highlight our difference and reveals to the world the communities that we’ve established. This youth symposium is an opportunity for our youth to use their words to express their thoughts and challenge others to give up complacency and achieve a greater understanding.
We encourage students, parents, educators and school administrators from the Greater Cincinnati area to join us for this meaningful dialogue!
