About eBay Foundation Community Engagement Fund
The eBay Foundation established the eBay Foundation Community Engagement Fund to support initiatives that use technology to enhance community engagement with the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center.
Goals of the program include:
- To support online programs that bring the work and message of the Freedom Center beyond its physical boundaries;
- To significantly increase the number of people exposed to the work and message of the Freedom Center;
- To create thriving online communities organized through the Freedom Center and around the work and message of the Freedom Center; and
- To develop new models of community engagement, particularly online, that like-minded organizations can replicate.
